Valny, Inc. ("Valny," "we," "us") makes an AI personal stylist and personalized outfit discovery app. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices. It covers the Valny iOS and Android apps and valny.co. Valny is for adults aged 18 and over. If you don't agree with this policy, please don't use Valny.

This is the most sensitive data we handle. This section also serves as our public retention and destruction schedule.

Where the EU/UK GDPR or Thai PDPA applies, our legal bases are: your explicit consent (for photos/biometric data and any marketing); performance of our contract with you (to run the app and subscription); our legitimate interests (security, basic analytics); and legal obligations.

6. AI transparency

Valny's stylist is an automated AI system, not a human stylist. Your color and body analysis is produced by AI and is for personal styling only; it is not medical, health, dermatological, or professional advice. Virtual try-on images are AI-generated and labeled as such; they are approximations and may not reflect real fit, color, or appearance. AI results can be imperfect and may vary with photo quality.

We do not sell your personal data and do not share it with data brokers or advertisers.

8. International data transfers

Valny operates from the United States, and your data, including photos, is processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. Some of these countries may not offer the same level of data protection as your own. Where required, we protect international transfers using recognized safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK IDTA/Addendum, and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. 9. Retention & deletion

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as the law requires. Photos and derived data follow the schedule in Section 4. You can delete your photos and account anytime in the app (Profile → Delete Account) or at valny.co/delete-account; we then delete your data except limited records we must keep by law. We may keep aggregated or de-identified information that no longer identifies you (for example, overall trends) and that we don't try to re-identify, since it is no longer personal data.

10. Your rights & choices

Depending on where you live, you can access, correct, delete, or port your data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent. To exercise these, email [email protected] or use the in-app controls. We honour browser Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. You won't be charged or denied service for exercising your rights, and you can complain to your local data-protection authority.
